Gary Mole, Chief Executive Officer
Gary Mole is an energy entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the energy industry. In 1991, Gary founded Pinnacle Marketing which was a purchasing company for Sydney Harbor Casino in Sydney, Australia. He went on to form Essential Utilities Energy Corporation (“EUC”) – Australia and served as its Managing Director from 1995 to 2001. In this role, he was responsible for entering into major power agreements with generators such as TXU, Entergy and AEP which represented over 16,000 gigawatts of power. In December, 2001, Gary founded EUC – USA, a company established to explore deregulation in the United States. As CEO, he was responsible for major power agreements with TXU, Reliant, Constellation Texas and New York, Gexa Energy, and Con Ed Solutions. Gary went on to form Glacial Energy which today operates in all deregulated markets.
Mark Finley, Executive Vice-President
Mark Finley is a businessman with over 16 years of senior management experience in energy, telecommunications, and real estate. Prior to joining Glacial Energy, Mark spent 10 years as President and CEO of Finley Enterprises, a tier one Telecommunications consulting company which was responsible for network development for major telecommunication companies including T-Mobile, AT&T, Nextel, Sprint, and General Dynamics. Mark joined Glacial Energy in 2006 as Senior Vice President of Sales in New England and went on to develop New England into Glacial Energy’s largest market. Today Mark serves as Executive Vice President, responsible for business activity in all territories serviced by Glacial Energy. Mark is a graduate of Tabor Academy and studied at Franklin & Marshall and Cornell University.
Joel Finley, President of Sales
Prior to joining Glacial Energy, Joel served as the Owner/Project Manager at Realty Development Corporation of Massachusetts and as a Site Acquisition Manager for Finley Enterprises. There he managed all aspects of real estate network development and site acquisition including leasing, zoning, and permitting for companies such as T-Mobile, AT&T, Nextel, Sprint, and General Dynamics. Joel’s relationship with Glacial Energy began in 2006 as an Agent. In 2007, Joel joined the company as a Business Development Manager, was promoted to Regional Director of Sales for Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He was then promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales in New England and was instrumental in Glacial Energy’s entrance into the Maine and New Hampshire markets. Today, Joel serves as President of Sales for all markets. He attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy and is a 1996 graduate of Sierra College in California.
Chris Pescatore, President of Sales
Chris came to Glacial Energy from the Wireless Telecommunications industry where he spent a number of years developing wireless networks for Sprint and Metro PCS as a Manager in the companies' Site Development and Land Use organizations. Prior to that, in 1997, he was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar. He went on to serve as a Judicial Law Clerk for New Jersey State Superior Court - Civil Division, before entering private legal practice. Chris joined Glacial Energy in September, 2007 as Senior Vice President of Sales for New Jersey. In that role, Chris started and directed the sales staff in New Jersey and helped establish it into the solid Glacial Energy market it is today. In August, 2009, New York was added to Chris’ responsibilities. Chris is a 1994 graduate of Rutgers University in New Jersey and a 1997 graduate of Quinnipiac School of Law in Connecticut.
Keith Lockwood, Chief Operating Officer
Keith began his 10 year retail energy career in June 1999 as an analyst for Constellation NewEnergy, Inc. (then New Energy Ventures). During his tenure, he was responsible for the successful implementation of risk and portfolio management systems, company-wide business intelligence, infrastructure, and production support within Constellation’s IT department. In February of 2001, Keith briefly left the energy industry to help form Innomatics, Inc., a software consulting firm focusing primarily on online educational software for the K-12 and college markets. Keith rejoined NewEnergy in November 2002, and was appointed Director of Information Systems in 2006. He joined Glacial Energy in 2009. Keith holds an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and has also earned a MBA from Babson College.
Michael Giery, Senior Corporate Counsel
Michael has an extensive business history encompassing both management and ownership experience. He worked as a public servant for both the City of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in a number of roles that encompassed both law enforcement and social services. Michael was also a member of The Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services specializing in the legal representation of indigent clients. Prior to joining Glacial Energy, Michael worked as an attorney specializing in network development and regulatory matters for a number of major telecommunication companies. He has an undergraduate degree from Johnson & Wales University and a Law Degree from Massachusetts School of Law.
