• Glacial Energy Helps Sponsor A Championship Boxing Benefit “The Hassle at the Castle”

  (May 7, 2010 New York, New York) Bang Productions, Inc. recently held the first annual “Hassle at the Castle” on May 7, 2010 at the famed Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York. The star-studded professional boxing event and gala was co-produced by Film Producer John Edmonds Kozma of Bang Productions, Inc. and Michelle A. Diaz from MAD Events, Inc. and promoted by Nick Garone of X-Cel Worldwide. It featured six professional boxing bouts and celebrity meet and greets. Between bouts, high-fashion models showcased swimwear by world-famous Carla’s Closet, whose designs were featured in 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Also that evening, boxing legend, Lou Duva, who turns 88 May 28, was honored for his achievements in the sport. Glacial Energy was pleased to be involved with such a prestigious event which benefited the Shea Megale Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy and the Elena Melius Foundation.

• New Glacial Energy Website

  After months of hard work and preparation, Glacial Energy is pleased to roll out its new website. The new website has many more features than the old one including "Glacial U" which is designed to educate customers and visitors to the site about various energy subjects. It also contains pertinent information such as news articles, events, press releases, and company information. Another addition is Glacial Energy's blog which will help those interested keep up to date with what's going on at Glacial energy. Visit http://www.glacialenergy.com to see the new site.

• Green Data Center Conference

  This year, Glacial Energy was one of the sponsors of The Green Data Center Conference. The event was held February 1 - 3 at San Diego State University's Super Computer Center and was set up to provide a blueprint of how Data Centers can be targeted for cost savings and how these savings can be implemented.
  
  Data centers use a tremendous amount of electricity so it made sense for Glacial Energy to be at the event to explain how the centers can cut their electricity costs by using Glacial's index product rather than the fixed product offered by other energy suppliers. The theme of the conference was Green, so Glacial also offered up its Glacial Green Program to the participants.
  
  The highlight of the 3 day event was a presentation by Dan Harris, Glacial Energy's Vice President of Training and Development.
